Davide Cenci's secrets:
SEE THE MAGIC BEHIND THE DOORS
Davide Cenci’s history and tradition have always had a special bond with the city of Rome.
Filled with beauty and historic attractions, Rome is able to arouse your curiosity and the urge to discover; when there, you’re always wondering what unexpected scenarios lie behind the city’s doors. This happens in Davide Cenci’s world too!
When you get to know Davide Cenci’s brand, it’s like you enter a whole different dimension. Peek through the keyhole of this week’s cover and see what’s behind: an imaginary world full of light, one you’ll be curious to know the magic and the secrets about. You may not know that in Rome you can get a glimpse of Saint Peter’s Dome through the keyhole of the Villa del Priorato di Malta’s gate; or, that there’s a Magic Door in Piazza Vittorio, with alchemical and esoteric symbols engraved on it.
WHEN YOU GET TO KNOW DAVIDE CENCI’S BRAND, IT’S LIKE YOU ENTER A WHOLE DIFFERENT DIMENSION.
As Rome’s doors make you curious and eager to explore, the same happens with Davide Cenci’s door: behind it is the Italian fashion tradition, which this cover celebrates with a total-white look by Dal 1926.
Research, variety and quality are what our daily job is made of; sometimes, we look to the past, we choose the right items and we give them a second life by adjusting them to the modern times. This is what happened with the vintage, long-sleeved, shirt-cuffed polo shirt. It’s made of terry cloth, whose texture recalls the old bathrobes’ fluffiness: that’s why it’s extremely soft and comfortable to wear.
A total-white outfit is the perfect summer look: together with the polo shirt look at the elastic waist, pleated trousers with “60/50” inner drawstring. They’re made of stretch linen and cotton, but a light-wool version is available as well to be paired with jackets for a more formal look. Complete the outfit with the Boland, the leather sneakers model by Church.
